This is where you get to understand some of the processes involved in repairing
the modern vehicle. Generally, all cars built after 1980 have some type of
electronics built into them. After 1986 most cars began to phase out carbureted
engines and began using fuel injected controls to deliver the proper air/fuel
ratio (14.7-1) during all phases and driving conditions. Thus began the advent
of the new and improved Emission control system! The following is a graph
